Singapore cracking down online anime downloaders?
Posted by darrellsu on June 4, 2007
Last Thurs/Fri on the newspapers actually came out an article to warn all anime downloaders. Havent bothered much abt it until now where i read forums and frens have been telling me that they were sent warning letters of it. The link below shows what series that are being licensed:

My thoughts:
From software, movies, mp3s to anime now? What next, TV shows eh? Come to tink of it, BlueMax and Odex should actually improve their crappy subs of the VCDs/DVDs they released. In comparison to the ones on the internet, theirs seriously sucks. I have actually rented Gundam Seed Destiny VCDs abt one or two years back and the subs realli cannot match up to the ones like [Seed-Fansubs] or [Haro^2^Tori]. And if ya noticed, everybody is still getting their weekly copies of Naruto and Bleach from Dattebayo fansubs and i can simply say Dattebayo are doin a great job at releasing the latest episodes to the public. If every anime downloaders starts getting warning letters, then youtube/crunchyroll should be the way to go. No way am i gonna buy any of Singapore’s crappy subs/dubs for a crazy price.
